The Eberspacher Hydronic 3 D5E CS (HS3) is a third-generation, fuel-powered water heater delivering 5 kW of heating power. It's ideal for passenger cars and transporters, designed to heat the vehicle’s interior and engine, as well as defrost windows. Its compact design is perfect for tight installation spaces, with the water pump and fuel metering pump installed separately. The fuel can be sourced directly from the return line using the admission-pressure-resistant metering pump, eliminating the need for a separate fuel tank extractor, which greatly reduces installation time.
The Eberspacher Airtronic S3 D2L 12V offers optimal fuel efficiency, multiple operating modes, and high safety standards. This third-generation, fuel-powered air heater provides between 0.85 kW and 2.2 kW of heating power, making it perfect for heating driver cabs in trucks, vans, motorhomes, minibuses, and even yachts. Certified for installation in passenger areas and near hazardous materials, it provides independent heating without relying on the vehicle's engine.
Both the water and air heater systems are genuine Eberspacher products and come with a 36-month warranty.
This dual system offers both hot air and hot water via a quick-warming coolant circuit. The water heater produces hot water within the unit, transferred through an indirect plate heat exchanger (or calorifier) that separates fresh water from the coolant, providing two independent circuits. A thermostatic mixer valve regulates water temperature, ensuring hot water is available within 5-10 minutes.
Once activated, the HS3 water heater draws fuel from the vehicle and heats the coolant through its dedicated heat exchanger. The heated coolant circulates through the system, warming either the freshwater tank or a heat exchanger plate to provide hot water for activities such as washing hands or showering, much like a domestic central heating system. This process ensures fast and efficient heating. The air heater, managed via the same controller, lets you select your preferred air temperature, and the system will maintain it automatically.

Returns Policy
Our returns policy does not cover items that fall under manufacturer warranties. If you believe your item is eligible for warranty service or you wish to return an item for a refund, please contact our support team or email us at sales@melloronline.co.uk.
Refunds and Cancellation Rights
You have the right to cancel your order within a 14-day cooling-off period, starting the day after you receive your items. Refund requests can be submitted within 30 days of the invoice date.
Notification of Intent to Cancel
To cancel an order or request a refund under the UK Consumer Protections (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you must inform Mellor Online of your intention by phone, email, WhatsApp or post within the applicable period. This is 14 days for cancellations and 30 days for refunds.
Upon receiving your request, we will send you a confirmation and authorization to return the goods. Please include your original invoice number with your return. All items must be in a resaleable condition.
Return Shipping
You are responsible for returning goods using an insured and trackable shipping method at your expense. We will only consider refund requests if there is proof of delivery to Mellor Online from your chosen courier. Once we receive the goods, we will issue a full refund minus any delivery charges.
If you cannot arrange a return, please contact us. We can arrange collection for you, but a fee will apply, which will be deducted from your refund.
Please note that delivery charges from the original purchase are non-refundable, as the service is completed once the order is placed.
Processed and Dispatched Orders
Orders that have already been processed or dispatched cannot be canceled; however, they can be returned for a refund once received by the customer.
